The outdoor television series known as The Best of the West has been on air since 2003 and the focus of the program is long range hunting big game in the Rocky Mountains. The production crew at Best of the West Productions strive to present an exciting cinematic version that immerses the viewer in the mountainous outdoor experience. Being all too aware that hunters want to see big game hit the ground, it's also been the goal to bring the entire "package" of the journey, knowing full well that even an unsuccessful hunt is never a waste of time. The times spent with family and friends in the outdoors is a rejuvenating experience to the very depths of the soul.

THE FIELD HOSTS
Jim was born and raised in Wyoming. He has hunted extensively in most western states, Canada, and Alaska. His filming, hunting, and shooting skills remain great assets to both BOTW and Huskemaw Optics.
John was born in 1965 in Cody, Wyoming. His family had generations of outfitters and competitive shooters. In 30 plus years of guiding and outfitting in Alaska and Wyoming he has personally guided over 700 trophy big game hunts.
Latt is a Florida native. He got his start in the outdoor world working as a first mate with Trophy Fishing Marlin Boats in the Caribbean. Since then Latt has guided hunts over a quarter of the western hemisphere.
Dan Adler is the owner of Diamond Outfitters of Arizona and a U.S. Air Force veteran officer. Dan is also a professional speaker and public figure in the hunting industry and on the topic of the Second Amendment. In his spare time he guides hunts for giant elk, world record Coues deer, mule deer, antelope, mountain lion, javelina and black bear.
